Today

These images are from my hat boxes purchased from Tuesday Morning a long time ago.Love the neutral colors and pretty flowers.
These beautiful hankies are from an auction, great buy! Both a 'sheer linen'.

I've had my heart set on this tin box of Paris stamps for some time. They arrived today.
I played for a while with them, then it was time to stop over to my son and daughter-in-laws and swim with the kids. It was so refreshing!
My sister, Annette, sent this photo of our great grandmother, Mae Lemon. She is my mother's maternal grandmother. She is so prim and proper looking! I like her hat!

The fretwork and Victorian lady are free samples from Dover Publications.com. They sell books with cd's on old images of many things. I purchased one of them at Barnes and Noble several weeks ago. They send you a link for free sample dowloads a couple times a week. Please feel free to use any image except my great gramdmother. Thank you for stopping by!

  3. Hi Linda:
I love those hatboxes! I have a tendency to collect them too. I have two that I use to keep ribbons and fringes clean and dust-free. Your great-grandmother is beautiful. I think her hat is perfect for her.
Have a great day and we'll chat again soon.
    Blessings,
    Donna
