Cool January

Our roses are few but what we do have are large
this year.

This one was edited just a little. :)

This is similar to the one above just not edited.

This is a peachy pink.
If I prune them back more, there
will be more next season.  Hopefully.

This one I edited a while back, when Picmonkey had all of their
editing for free.  Now so many tools you have pay for. :(
The crackling is extra.

The weather here has been cool so that might explain lack of blooms.
It's about to get even cooler Thursday and Friday.  It will be in the mid 50's during the day here in the Phoenix area! We have acclimated nicely in four and a half years,
but 50's?  The sun will be out so that will be comforting.
I think; how did we do it in Wisconsin for so many years?
It's what you are used to.
I'm thankful it is cool now, in a few short months it will be toast!

Thank you for coming by,
enjoy the weather for now
and stay warm where ever you are!

  1. Hi Linda!
I am glad you have such beautiful roses, soon it will be spring and all will change again. I have seen Cardinals that think it is spring, but maybe they start early. We will be in the 70' this weekend, a bit warm for here, and for this time of year.
I hope 2013 will be a good year for you and your busy family.
    Much Love
    Marcie
