A Gift & Back to School!

Hi blogging friends! Hope you are having a great back to school week!
A handmade pillow and embellishments go to a far away lady.

The pillow on the left is the gift, the French script pillow on the right is all mine!

Yum...

It's amazing what simple muslin can look like after some creative sewing.
I found this amazing discount upholstery store.
I did some stocking up and found *cheap* priced silk!

Little princess first day of kindergarten yesterday. Little prince started
pre-k also. We have 5 grandkids and all are in school now....
They are ages 3, 5, 10, 11, and 13! WOW! I say WOW again!
Whew!

Blessings,

  19. Hello Linda!
Double yum on both of those pillows! I am now looking around my home for more places to put pillows...

I decided to paint my kitchen last weekend. My poor hubby spent an entire day painting my kitchen Robin's Egg Blue. When it dried, it turned into powder blue. Yuck, it's a pretty blue, but just enough of a color difference to drive me CRAZY! (Even more than I already was...) So, I am now on the hunt for just the perfect shade of REB to re-paint the kitchen, and am in search of an entire day where I am home alone so hubby doesn't find out he did all that work for nothing!

Hope the first week of school went well! My kids have three more weeks before they head back, we are trying to squeeze summer into every day!
