New Do in A Room ~

Trying to decide which Robin's Egg Blue to do a room over in can be a problem. The image above is true Robin's Egg Blue from Martha Stewart. You can get it in Behr paints, my preference is eggshell. I like Behr because it covers very well and is worth the price. Back in Wisconsin I used a paint from a local Fleet Farm, it was the most durable! (The chair above is just a dream, but I am on the lookout for one similar that I can recover.) I have been to Lowe's, Home Depot, WalMart, Sherwin Williams for paint, you get the idea. This is the best color, the best Robin's Egg Blue by Martha Stewart collection in my opinion.

Wanted  you to have an idea of how it is out there looking for these colors, there are so many to choose from.
Another favorite is Vintage Aqua @ Lowe's. You can go soft color or the bright, I choose the soft for a bedroom. It's just more restful to me. These color swatches are more blue here but in person they are more aqua.
This can get complicated! But I aim to keep it simple.  ;-)
I'll have before and after photos for you soon. Be patient, I am slower than molasses in January! (Back in Wisconsin!)

  1. One day I was running short on time and had to get something painted before company came over. Fleet Farm paint it had to be. I was so surprised at the durability and coverage. It was great paint.

Good luck with your newest project!

  6. Oh how I know this story! Isn't it amazing how many shades and tones there are of a single color? It seems so simple in your head until you're standing there in front of all those chips. Robin Egg is one of my very favorite colors, and in fact, is the color of my kitchen....well, not the walls.........but the rest. :-) I did a VERY pale blush pink.....not a red/white pink.......more in the coral/pink category. Yeah, that was another hair pulling event. :-)

    Good luck finding the chair.

    Warm hugs,
    Spencer
