Flea Circus....oops, Flea Market

Old finds at the biggest flea market I've been to. St. Germain, Wisconsin which is near Minocqua has one of the largest flea markets I have ever heard of or been to. The setting was beautiful, in the middle of a large pine forest or park with 450 vendors. My sister, Annette kept track of where we had been and where we were going. So many people, that's why I said 'flea circus'. Cars were parked everywhere. Everything from shabby mosaics to white painted furniture, old music books, watches, jewelry old and new , glassware, crafters withe their crafts were on display. Liquidators selling their finds, sham-wow knock-offs, tools, socks, you name it, it was there. Here we found a couple of old pocket watches, door knob backplates, a very old Paris postcard, some old music books all for just a few dollars! The Little Blue Star in the Window is a song booklet from WW1. The Waltz Album with waltz music sheets from 20 or more waltz's. :-)Don't ask me what I will do with these but I will add it to my inventory. :-) Actually I have plans for all of it, projects down the road. Just a little bit of my world the last couple of weeks. Thank you for stopping by.

  1. Hello my bloggy friend! WooHoo!!! Party day is just a week away! I'm so looking forward to seeing everyone's creative spaces. I have a request... I thought it would be easier for everyone to leave comments if we all turned off comment moderation and word verification during the day (or maybe week) of the party. To do that, go to customize, settings, comments...then scroll down to turn off comment moderation and word verification.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and a fabulous week. See you next Friday!!
