Wisconsin Country Roads....Trip Back Home

There is something I love about old country roads. The above photos were taken behind my sister's place. Old logging roads run through these woods. They go for miles and miles. Each dirt road is lined with a canopy of maple, oak, pine, poplar and so on. Fall colors against a background of dark evergreen is truly the most beautiful sight. Photos do no justice. You have to see it for yourself. Winter is another story and different photos. Dark grey limbs and trunks against fluffy frozen white sparkley snow takes your breath away. One more for the dirt road...

  1. There is nothing like a back road, they all look so familiar. Great shots!
