Room For....

Lavender anyone? While posting the photos above I came across an article. A hospital here in the U.S. has a soothing lavender room for cat scans. It was so easy on the eyes. Even the color has calming effects. Images courtesy of BHG & CL.

  1. I just love that first room! I sure wish I could get my house clean! I have always loved the color of lavender and purple. When I was 10 my parents built our house. My dad wanted to know what color I wanted my carpet to be. I said purple. He actually found purple carpet. Now, years later, we built our house and I have a purple craft room! lol I'm also wearing lavender today! hehehe

  4. Hi Linda!!! Thank you so much for coming by and visiting me. I just loved having a look around your blog. I also really like your other blog devoted to all things patriotic. I didn't grow up in a military family as you did but my husband and I both long for the days of old America. (You know... when everyone loved and respected their country!) Anyway, I hope we find time to chat some more soon.

  5. This is your glorious abode? Wow such great light, and ambience! Blessings.

    Hello! :)

  7. Those rooms are AMAZING! And a hospital with a lavendar room? If they look like these rooms, it almost makes me want to have a CAT scan. ;)

    Blessings... Polly

  8. Linda:
One of my favorite aunts used to have a lavender bedroom, replete with violets and lace. This brought back fond memories. Thank you!

Also, I'm paying forward my wonderful new award for you on this site. Visit my BN blog to pick up your award for White Linen - Lavender Fields.

Hugs and gratitude, my new friend!
