Pure Vanilla & A Victorian Cuff

Annette, if you are here. Close your eyes.
:-)
I recieved my Madagascar/Bourbon Vanilla Beans in the mail today and have made pure vanilla extract.  You can get your recipe and help with ordering at Donna's blog: Brynwood Needleworks.
She will tell  you where to order, how many beans to use in a recipe, what type of alchohol, and when you can use it here. I've made mine for my sister who bakes her heart out.
The label is from Cathe Holden's blog,
Remember her post on glitter and labeling?
The bottle I used held Olive Oil.
They are the neatest bottles and someday will make pretty vintage bottles. They are pretty today!
Save your glass olive oil bottles..

~~~******~~~
Last week my husband brought in a neatly wrapped package. In it was this:
made this pretty Victorian cuff. Every stitch by her hands. Beautiful crochet around the cameo and cuff. Tiny stitches carefully hold together a silk backing and ecru lace on the front. It's feminine and so pretty.
The tiny crystal bottle I filled with a few more glass pearls. She also made the crochet white rosette. Very talented lady!
Thanks for stopping by REB...
    I closed my eyes, took a deep breath,
    and inhaled the aroma of my vanilla! I can't wait! I will enjoy a "vanilla bean" Latte, or perhaps use it for perfume! I will for sure bake some goodies just for you and send!
    Thank you! I love the bottle and label. You are soooo talented!
    The cuff and the label are gorgeous!! I was looking at some of Martha's Halloween labels in Jo-Ann's yesterday and just about choked at the prices.
    Again...the cuff......so Victorian and beautiful!
  19. I found you!
    I just gotta tell you, there's something very sensuous about that vanilla bottle in the first picture - - - my imagination makes it look like a very curvy female backside near the base - - - - I'm just sayin' - - -
    I've seen directions for making vanilla on other blogs too. Interesting concept. Far more exotic and fun than the cheap stuff I buy at Dollar General!
    Have a great day.
