Some time ago my mother was at a flea market in Wisconsin and she
found this oval footed aqua glass bowl. I kinda forgot about it and pulled it out
to display. (We still have some things packed away from the move). She gave it to me for a birthday a
while ago. Her favorite color has always been aqua. Thought you might enjoy it as I do and maybe you
can identify it.
How beautiful. Love the color. I am really into aqua right now. Thanks for sharing.

Looks like a piece of Fenton from the 1960-70s. They produced several pretty aqua pieces at that time. It would have carried a paper label. Nice footed bowl. Sea Witch
ReplyDeleteHa! I can identify it as...MINE! (just kidding) That is a gorgeous shade of aqua!
ReplyDeleteThats a really lovely delicate aqua, and the shape is so pretty as well. Pretty gorgeous all round really, isn't it.
ReplyDeleteThat would look lovely with some natural material inside... shells, a nest, some pretty pebbles, even.
ReplyDeleteI am not able to identify this lovely piece but I sure do love it! It would be prefect in my dining room!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures of a lovely piece of glass!

It looks a lot like a clear one I have holding soaps in the guest bath.

I don't know but if you ever find another one...please contact me! It's lovely! Anything would look pretty in it or nothing - it stands alone! Jennifer
ReplyDeleteBeautiful piece and I do love the color. I can see it filled with diamonds! Of course, mine would be faux...but then who would dare ask...
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing.
Beautiful!!!
ReplyDeleteHello darling Linda! I send you such blessings and thanks for being one of the sweetest for the New Year! Lots of beauty here with your photos. Take care.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love Aqua glass and that is a lovely piece. Very nice gift from Mom.
ReplyDeleteThat has become my favorite color too. Just did a family room mini re-do with white and ice blue. That's what drew me to your blog. Don't tell all my "pink" friends! lol Come for a visit.

Though it may be difficult to identify the maker without its size, the beauty of the bowl is the colour it casts and the giver that shared her love to purchase it...
ReplyDeleteIt is lovely and of course my favourite colour.
Susan
What a beautiful bowl and site as well. What is it about that soft blue and bird nest's filled with eggs that intrigues us! Love, love your beautiful blog!
