My sister just sent these from northern Wisconsin, White Lake to be exact. She lives in the Nicolet National Forest where Wisconsin beauty abounds and right now it truly is a Winter Wonder Land! There are pine trees, the fish hatchery, trout ponds and streams. It's so beautiful words cannot describe, maybe because I'm so lonesome. Thank you, Annette, for sending these!
I love your post today...looking at the images, much more than trudging through it! I guess I'm an official, bona fide Floridian! ;-)

Beautiful pictures from Wisconsin. That stream is just gorgeous, she is so lucky to get to walk by it. My kiddos didn't have school today due to the snow. Winter has finally come! Enjoy your day!

ReplyDeleteWow, those are really beautiful. But I know I could not take the cold of Wisconsin!

Extaordinary shots. Wisconsin is one of my favorite midwest states for so many reasons. It's amazing beauty is one of them. Sea Witch
ReplyDeleteThat song is beautiful, honey. Years ago I heard a woman sing something like "but tonight he is mine" and I almost wept it was so beautiful. I haven't been able to find it since but it touched me greatly, sugar.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is delightful, chick; I'm marking it on my Google Reader to keep up with you.
Yes, we have snow, but we're in the SW desert of Idaho. Where are you?

Our daughter and her family lived in WI for a couple of years before returning to MT, and they had legendary snowfalls! It is a beautiful state, and we loved visiting there. Our other daughter and her family live in MN, and it, too, has a beauty all its own. Your blog is lovely - thank you for sharing the snowfall effect!
