Remember? Please Read On...

Oh, I know this is a pretty blog, with pretty things and pretty words. Eye candy. Little tickle my fancy things. Today, I want to remember and want my grandchildren to remember the Civil War, the War of 1812, the Revolutionary War, and another recent war, in one of the largest cities in America. An attack on the twin towers in New York city, September 11th, 2001. Terroists of the world....you have awaken a sleeping giant. It seems the same happened on Pearl Harbor, December 7th, 1941, another awakening of a sleeping giant. Whether you like it or not war will be around until the end of time as we know it. I do not like war and death that comes with it, I abhor it. But there will be men and women that hate just like the air we breath. I want my grandchildren to remember that with war and hate there are accounts of victory and lessons learned. For without that we are nothing. We will develope a love and respect for those that have gone before us. We will remember heros and their saving accounts. We will remember their families and their loss as well as their victory. The following photos may make you uneasy, your eyes may well up, your heart may feel heavy, you may be a little sad, but look into these images and see beyond the fatal attack on the World Trade Center. You will find much more that an ugly evil attack left behind Great American Heros. You will find heros and their families. 9/11/2001 will be in history books for many years to come. There will be accounts of heros, families, firemen, policemen, everyday people that went beyond the call of duty and everyday life right here on 9/11. If you were expecting beautiful photos of a cleaned up ground zero, you need to visit another site. Remember when? Tell your children and grandchildren about it.
