Fall in Wisconsin is like nothing you have ever seen. It is peaceful, serene, and if you travel to the northern parts, it is like a painters paradise. The photo directly above is in Ephriam in Door County. The 5th photo most resembles the woods near our cabin. Spotted here and there we had beautiful birch next to maple and next to that were pine. With that grouping of trees, it can be the most spectacular fall colors. We gave up our cabin, but we can go back and visit family. The first photo are Sumac, they turn several shades in the fall color realm, then a sudden burst of burgandy at the very end. The second photo is closest to our little sleepy town of White Lake. Overlooking the lake on a quiet morning, the lake can be a mirror its so still, and the trees in the right year can be majestic with color.
A little note to all of you who comment, thank you for stopping by and leaving your comments and words of encouragement it means alot to have people enjoy the simple things in life along with me.
Blessings,
Thank you for the gift of the photos you have shown today...I believe showing God's art is worth this blog continuing. I have really enjoyed it Linda. What a beautiful place you live in.

Harvest season has started. The days have been very warm here in the Northwoods. The evenings are cool, the leaves are falling, the smells are crisp, and the colors are breathtaking! I only wish autumn lasted longer. This is my favorite time of the year. I know you miss it....but remember us in a few months when you are enjoying the warm "winter" weather.
